Welcoming Prayer Immersion Workshop
Benedictine Sisters Retreat Center
The Welcoming Prayer is a method of consenting to God's presence and action in our physical and emotional reactions to events and situations in daily life. It helps us to actively let go of thoughts and feelings that support the false-self system. "I am where I need to be. Everything around me includes and hides the sacred."-Mary Mrozowski, creator and spiritual mother of the Welcoming Prayer practice. This workshop is for those who have practiced Centering Prayer and would like to learn the Welcoming Prayer, as well as for those who want to deepen their experience of the Welcoming Prayer. Retreat Presenter: Sue Miller has been active in Centering Prayer for over 20 years and has been learning about and practicing the Welcoming Prayer since 2008. Registration by check $60 to Benedictine Sisters Retreat Center, 916 Convent Rd., Cullman, AL 35055. More information: Sacred Heart Monastery: shmon.org See: Retreats.
