Belo Horizonte, Brazil - 

The City of Belo Horizonte had another Introductory Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina retreat August 31-September 2 led by Fr. Paulo Braz, OFM CAP who participated in our first Fr. Thomas Keating retreat here in 2003. Having been a practitioner of Centering Prayer since then, Fr. Braz will be leading us through the deep waters of contemplation according to our Christian tradition. The retreat was at the Cenacle Sisters’ House who also invited this humble server to orient two weekend retreats….one in the first semester and another in the second half of the coming year. On the one hand I feel I have not participated in the Formation Courses of Contemplative Outreach, but on the other hand, I feel I must share what I’ve been experiencing in these eight years of daily practice of CP. I have participated with Fr. Thomas Keating in the first retreat here and two other retreats with our dear Fr. William Meninger in 2004 and 2006. Trusting that the Holy Spirit will guide me and also taking time to read and study more about CP, so that I can at least introduce many in this Path, I humbly as your prayers for our retreats. CO of Dublin, Ireland - 

CO of Dublin is open at the Resource Centre on the grounds of the Dominican Sisters, Navan Road, Dublin 7. The venue is a fitting place for the new Chapter of Contemplative Outreach as it is in a space where the sisters have prayed for almost two hundred years. The chapter will offer the Introductory Workshop to Centering Prayer and the six follow-up sessions, monthly Days of Prayer and Lectio Divina, along with other Contemplative Outreach programs.
