Come Join us on our next Contemplative Pilgrimage

You may have participated in or heard from friends about our previous pilgrimages to the Holy Land - two of them with Fr. William Meninger, ocso and one with Fr. William Sheehan, omi.  This time, responding to special requests, we are headed in another direction: we are going to Portugal, to honor the most venerated contemplative of all times, Mary, the Mother of Jesus, on the date of her apparition in Fatima; and to Spain to follow in the footsteps of Teresa of Avila (Avila), John of the Cross (Salamanca), and the Apostle James (Santiago de Compostela), and to visit many other places.  

 Our spiritual director will be Fr. Martin O'Loghlen, a priest of the Congregation of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, and our tour leader, Ilse Reissner.  Both Fr. Martin and Ilse speak Spanish and know the sites we will visit well, have been involved with Contemplative Outreach for over 10 years, and are members of its National Faculty.  Fr. Martin has served on many Intensive and Post-Intensive retreats. 

It is another Fundraiser for Contemplative Outreach:

Dates:  Basic Tour, May 12-26, 2000

Cost: Approx $2500 for the 14 day Basic Tour

Optional Extension to South of  Spain May 26-29

Cost: $500 for the 4-day optional Extension

Price includes airfare from New York, breakfast and dinner daily, all sightseeing and hotels.
