A 20th Anniversary Tour Visit

The 20th Anniversary Tour of Contemplative Outreach Ltd. came to Long Island October 21-22, 2006. Long Island was honored to host this tour as this is also the 20th Anniversary of the Long Island Chapter.

A day for prayer group facilitators was held Saturday, October 21 at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in West Islip and was attended by about 50 invited Centering Prayer participants. Fr. Thomas and Fr. Carl along with Gail Fitzpatrick, president and Marie Howard, Special Events Planner talked with the group. To close the day, they gave each person a special blessing in thanksgiving for their work.

On Sunday nearly 200 people attended the presentation by Fr. Thomas again at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. This presentation was open to the larger community and attracted a wide audience. During the reception that followed, Fr. Thomas was available for a Book Signing. Many of the attendees took advantage of this very personal opportunity and had him sign books especially his latest "Manifesting God".
