English Transcript:

In the morning when I wake up, I practice Centering Prayer. I’m allowing myself to be immersed in the presence of God and in the present moment. I sit in the stillness for 20 minutes and that is where God is. Silence is the natural way to communicate with God. When I become aware of distractions, I return ever-so-gently to the sacred word and for me that word is actually two little words: “let go.”  The deep communications that I am experiencing extends into every relationship that I have. I’m a speech and language therapist and I work with children (in my home office here) with communication disorders and every time basically that I’m communicating I’m communicating with the Divine Indwelling in the another being as well. Now I can embrace the fullness of life and all that brings – the sorrows, the joy – and see it all as a gift.
