Contemplative Outreach of New Orleans presents a
                         "
Centering Prayer Retreat"
Friday, August 4, 2017 -- Wednesday, August 9, 2017

   ‘Embracing Oneness—Renewing Our Contemplative Life’
“In oneness, there is not more or less, there is only oneness.”
Thomas Keating, “Reflections on the Unknowable”

We will use the Psalms (Nan Merrill translation), Scripture, Chant and Sacred Poetry as prayer to assist us in renewing our Contemplative Life and explore some of our contemplative tools that may need some renewing.  We will explore, "Be filled with love that comes from a pure heart..."  (I Timothy 1:5 NLT)

ABOUT OUR PRESENTER — SUSAN RUSH
Susan has been active in Contemplative Outreach in leadership roles for the past 3 decades and has been serving in the field of health care throughout her adult life. Her background is in Clinical Pastoral Education and formation for Contemplative leadership. She is a Certified Spiritual Director. She says her key to remaining resilient in our wobbly world is her connection to the Contemplative Outreach Community. Compassionate presence with a contemplative heart is her goal.
