Introduction to Centering Prayer Workshop
The Church of St. Ann
The Church of Saint Ann invites you to
An Introduction to Centering Prayer
March 17, 2018
9:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.
Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer, prayer in which we experience God's presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself. This method of prayer is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship. This workshop is an opportunity to be introduced to or to renew your prayer practice - to be with God beyond concepts, words and images, listening with “the ear of the heart”.
Presented by: Therese Saulnier and Patty Creech of Contemplative Outreach of New Jersey
Therese has been praying Centering Prayer for 30 years. Patty has been praying Centering Prayer for 20 years. Contemplative Outreach is part of a world-wide network, Roman Catholic in origin, ecumenical in scope.
