You may come for a day\, overnight\, or a few days. Join the Sisters for prayer and daily Mass\, walk the grounds\, have opportunity for reconciliation and soul-friending. Enjoy home-cooked meals and a comfortable room in a nurturing environment.  We continue to take the COVID pandemic very seriously and are taking many safety precautions to keep you and our staff safe.  If you do not reside in a COVID “hot spot\,” and are not experiencing any symptoms\, or  have been around anyone that has been exposed to the virus\, you are welcome to come.  Call today! Saulnier \nFranciscan Spiritual Center \nSeptember 13-15\, 2019 \nStarts Friday at 7 PM and ends Sunday at 11 AM \n  \nThe pursuit of spirituality can evolve our consciousness\, expanding our understanding of reality and opening us to see things differently – beyond our usual perception of reality cloaked by perceptions and beliefs.  Knowledge of mysticism is a doorway to this evolution of our consciousness. .Karl Rahner\, a 20th century theologian\, wrote: “In the days ahead\, you will either be a mystic (one who has experienced God for real) or nothing at all.”  In this retreat\, we’ll explore the nature of mysticism\, mystical writers such as St. John of the Cross\, and the impact of mysticism in deepening our relationship with God and transforming our everyday lives.   Centering Prayer experience suggested.  \nTherese Saulnier has been praying Center Prayer for 30 years and teaching Centering Prayer and other contemplative prayer practices for over 25 years. She is a faculty member of the Contemplative Outreach\, Ltd.\, an international organization committed to renewing the contemplative dimension of the Gospel.
