At Bethany Retreat Center we are pleased to offer private retreats in a peaceful and beautiful setting where you can get away from the cares of everyday life and focus on your faith journey. You may come for a day\, overnight\, or a few days. Join the Sisters for prayer and daily Mass\, walk the grounds\, have opportunity for reconciliation and soul-friending. Enjoy home-cooked meals and a comfortable room in a nurturing environment.  We continue to take the COVID pandemic very seriously and are taking many safety precautions to keep you and our staff safe.  If you do not reside in a COVID “hot spot\,” and are not experiencing any symptoms\, or  have been around anyone that has been exposed to the virus\, you are welcome to come.  Call today! The cost is $88.00 per night. All meals are included.

The conference concludes on Sunday\, September 22 at 11 am with a closing session including Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina. The conference will feature: \n\nA special presentation on Friday with Dr. Christine O'Brien Travers\, "Contemplative Neuroscience: Contemplative practices are well-being skills that rewire and reintegrate mind\, body and spirit."\nTime for Centering Prayer each day\, along with an opportunity to share with others on the contemplative journey how we can continue to expand our vision and deepen our practice.\n\nCost is $475 which includes eight meals and all materials.  Partial scholarships are available for those in need.  Space is limited.   \n	To register for the conference\, please do the following: \n\nPlease email Donna (office@coutreach.org) using "conference 2019" in the subject line. SUMMARY:Centering Prayer Post-Intensive Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Pray Without Ceasing: A Post-Intensive 8-Day Centering Prayer Retreat \nRegister on the CO of Central Iowa website. \nThis post-intensive retreat will consist of continuous periods of Centering Prayer from before sunrise until the dinner hour\, with breaks for meals. Attendees may participate in as much prayer as they are called to. Short pauses for entering and leaving the silence will be offered every 30 minutes. There will be no teaching and no reading during this immersion in silence. Those who wish may attend daily mass at the Priory. \nCost is $650\, which includes single occupancy room with private bathroom\, and all meals.
