SUMMARY:Be Still and Know: A Contemplative Prayer Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Anchored in silence and the practice of Centering Prayer\, this weekend will offer opportunities to let go of our everyday concerns in order to be still and know God ever more intimately. End the summer and start the fall in a prayerful and grace-full way. \nThe schedule includes three Centering Prayer gatherings\, an overview of the practice\, evening prayer\, lectio divina and other contemplative practices. Remaining hours are unscheduled for private prayer and reflection as well as optional swimming in the on-site pool and labyrinth walk. No previous experience with Centering Prayer is necessary.
