DESCRIPTION:A Taste of Lectio Divina \nImagine what your spiritual life would be like if you were able to open yourself to the Word in Scripture\, allowing the Spirit to guide you\, learning about yourself and God’s will for you? \nLectio Divina\, meaning “divine reading”\, is the ancient interactive form of praying with Scripture\, which allows us to explore the Sacred Word’s inner meaning. \nThe workshop will include:\n• An Introduction to the method of Lectio Divina\n• Delving into the “four senses” of Scripture – the literal\, the allegorical\, the moral/behavioral\, and the unitive\n• Practicing the method using passages from the New Testament \nJoin this exploration of sacred texts that help us move from an acquaintance with God to a transformative relationship with the Divine. \nPlease see the link below to register.
