SUMMARY:Centering Prayer\, Introductory Program
DESCRIPTION:On Demand Retreat: This webcast is available at any time you are ready to take the program. There are several other bundled studies available in one registration. You can register for the event at:  \nhttps://retreats.houseofblessings.org/p/cp \nTraining in silent prayer: Centering Prayer is a receptive method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer. In this prayer\, we experience God's presence within us. It is closer than breathing\, closer than thinking\, closer than consciousness itself. This prayer form\, as Fr. Keating says\, is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship. \nCentering Prayer Adds depth to prayer life: Centering Prayer is not meant to replace other kinds of prayer. Centering Prayer adds depth of meaning to all prayer. It facilitates the movement from more active modes of prayer – verbal\, mental or affective prayer – into a receptive prayer of resting in God. Centering Prayer emphasizes prayer as a personal relationship with God and as a movement beyond conversation with Christ to communion with Christ. \nMeant for all people: This method is open to all people. There are no requirements or pre-requisites\, only your willingness to spend a few minutes twice a day.  \nWebcast: This webcast is available at any time you are ready to take the program. There are several other bundles studies available in one registration. You can register for the event at:  \nhttps://retreats.houseofblessings.org/p/cp
