SUMMARY:Living the Questions with Rainer Maria Rilke
DESCRIPTION:In one of his Sonnets to Orpheus\, Rilke invites us to “desire the change!” Transformation was one of his central themes. But how do we find the courage to do this? This retreat invites us to explore his invitation to “live the questions\,” and indeed to “live everything” as the path toward that end. We’ll explore his invitation to live into “the Open\,” and discover our lives as belonging to “the Whole.” Come to practice doing what Rilke called the “heart-work” of life. \nThis event includes sessions of Centering Prayer. \nPlease see the link below for more information and to register.

SUMMARY:Silence that Connects the World – Session 2 (via Zoom)
DESCRIPTION:Session 2. The Fruits of Silence \nTheme: Silence is not empty; it is full of presence. Explore the subtle fruits of the practice. \n“The actions that arise from my Centering Prayer practice are the fruits. I notice I have more patience. I am more willing to listen without judgment. I react more calmly when things do not go as I hoped. I have more compassion\, inner peace\, and joy for life. These fruits were freely given by God as I waited in silence and opened myself.”\n— Rich Lewis \nStep into Stillness \nPause from the noise of daily life and reconnect with the divine presence within.
