SUMMARY:Five-Day Intensive/Post-Intensive Centering Prayer Retreat
DESCRIPTION:In Contemplative Outreach (CO) Centering Prayer retreats\, practitioners are given an opportunity to deepen their practice and relationship with God by joining with others in community for the experience of immersion in contemplative prayer apart from ordinary life. Retreats are a way to take one’s relationship with God and one’s practice deeper. They offer time and space away from the busyness and demands of daily life\, and allow the mind\, body\, and spirit to surrender to God’s presence and action within. \nThis retreat will offer two tracks — Intensive and Post-Intensive. The retreat will be held at the Benedictine Hospitality Center in Ferdinand\, Indiana. \nThe Benedictine Hospitality Center is operated by the Sisters of St. Benedict\, one of the largest Benedictine communities of women in the United States.
