SUMMARY:11th-Step Centering Prayer Retreat
DESCRIPTION:This retreat will offer an environment of solitude and silence in community with time for reflection\, fellowship and 12-Step Meetings. We will be presenting Centering Prayer as an 11th-Step Practice. Centering Prayer is an ancient meditation practice that is different from what we may think of as prayer. It is simply moving deep within ourselves in silence\, saying nothing\, asking for nothing\, just being by letting go of our thoughts and resting in our Higher Power. Retreat staff have been active in 12-Step programs for many years and are longtime practitioners of Centering Prayer. They are commissioned presenters for Centering Prayer through Contemplative Outreach and 12 step Outreach. \nIf you are starting a meditation practice\, seeking a new path or are interested in deepening your current practice\, come and join. Please see the link below to register.
