DESCRIPTION:From the moment theologians seek to tame God with names and adjectives\, mystics step into the wilderness to reveal the God beyond naming\, and the ethical challenge to which this God calls us. Drawing on the wisdom and practices of the Hebrew and Greek Bibles\, Kabbalists and Hasidim\, Zen Roshis and Holy Rascals\, Fr. Michael Holleran and Rabbi Rami Shapiro invite you to accompany them into the wilderness to meet the One beside whom there is nothing else (Deuteronomy 4:35). \nThis program will be offered both in-person and online via Zoom. Information on how to access the program on Zoom will be sent to participants in advance. \nThis program will include a morning and an afternoon session of Centering Prayer. \nPlease see the link below to register.
