DESCRIPTION:Topic: Fr. Thomas Keating and the Development of Christian Contemplative Prayer Practice\nPresenter: Fr. Steve Coffey OSB Cam \nOn this weekend Centering Prayer Retreat\, Fr. Steve will begin with the story of how Fr. Thomas  developed his teaching on Centering Prayer.  He will then examine the process of contemplative prayer that leads to union with the Divine. One presentation will be dedicated to a question-and-answer format. \nWe will be in silence for meals\, breaks\, and prayer time. Periods of Centering Prayer will be included in our time together. There will be discussion following each presentation.
