The emphasis on lifting up the light brings to mind Jesus’ words in John 8 (I am the light of the world) and Matthew 5 (You are the light of the world). I can bring and reflect the light that comes from the Eternal Source of light that is Christ. His light precedes ours always. We dont strive for it. Light also clarifies. The section about trivial matters really hits me hard. So many distractions that seems to invite me to scatter my light. So many things requesting attention that dont matter. I want to know the love in my heart lest the weeds choke out the good work Holy Spirit is doing to transform this heart to be part of the world’s healing. Much love to all who make this community possible.
