We are a community of French-speaking contemplatives and members of Contemplative Outreach. During our meetings, we share prayer intentions, and we would like to reach out to the Contemplative Outreach Prayer Forum to support these intentions. In turn, we will, of course, include in our prayers those who have requested support on the Prayer Forum.
United in prayer and with every good wish,
-Carole Buckingham
Prayer Intentions
Amélie – France
Amélie and her husband find themselves in a place of deep impasse, moving toward divorce. We pray that the situation may be resolved with wisdom and compassion, especially for the well-being of their child.
Will Mohan – New York State USA
A new postulant in Bernard’s religious community. May he be strengthened and guided on his path.
Benoît and his family – Belgium
After a long period of suffering, Benoît has chosen assisted suicide, which will take place in Belgium on Tuesday, May 27. Bernard, his brother, will accompany him. We pray that all may unfold in peace and divine mercy, and that his family may find comfort.
Leila – France
Leila had just fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a driving instructor. After a car accident—of which she was not at fault—she is now permanently unable to drive or carry out her profession. She is also suffering physically. We pray she may rediscover faith in herself, find new direction, and be able to support her three children.
Ronald – Canada
A retired engineer who is uncertain about how to spend this new stage of his life. May he find inspiration, purpose, and joy as he moves into the unknown.
Serge – Quebec Canada
Still awaiting a clear diagnosis from heart specialists. We pray the doctors may soon find an effective treatment, and that Serge may continue to feel sustained by our prayerful presence, which he says gives him strength.
Josiane – France
We have just learned that Josiane is between life and death. We ask that she be gently accompanied on her journey, whatever the outcome may be. Let us also hold her son in our hearts.
Cariosa – France
Cariosa continues to experience a difficult time with her L’Arche community. She shared with us these words: “Something is being given through our prayers for her and her community.” May that grace deepen.
