      To Practice

      • Pray these passages again in the manner of Lectio Divina, speaking them out loud to engage your senses and affirm them in your being. What speaks to your journey now?
      • Reflect on what it means to you to love God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind and to love your neighbour as yourself. You may wish to try writing these reflections as a dialogue with God.

Listening in on these beautiful and insightful dialogues makes me realize that whenever we sit together in that Great Liturgy of shared Silence we grow ever deeper into the Heart and Mind and Love of Christ. We cannot do this in our separate little selves. We grow stronger together.

Thank You foe The Word of The Week.

Etty Hillesum’s words take me right back to Thomas’s often-repeated saying: “Change the direction you’re looking in for happiness” It always comes back to God., without exception.

I am having that kind of week, 12-18 months ago I did not think possible. Trusting willingly the unfolding inner dialogue in my  pit of despair I engaged in two significant gatherings, and AA  5th-step with a gentleman  swimming through the murky waters of PTSD. My own recent dream experience of  pre-self-pity powerlessness as a child  was a precursor to my listening, engaging  presence  this week. Lectio Divina of  conversation dialogue was the Indwelling Spirit sitting me down to hear at a deeper level the PLAN that is not my plan but that is what my life is all about; being present to these three encounters this week. The power of consenting and Welcome Prayer-ering! THANK YOU to all you my WoW companions!

Thomas, Marlene and Adeline: So blessed by how you show up to your journey and this community.  – Gratefully, Pamela.

“And all my creative powers are translated into inner dialogues with You” speaks to my journey now. How challenging to put pen to paper to express my journey when, like Etty HIllesum, I always end up writing one single word: God. Yet, write I must, edifying those on this journey with me, known and unknown to me. Trust the love, trust the process: all manner of things shall be well. <3 linda
