Centering Prayer Conference

 

Why this gathering matters

In a world marked by fragmentation, speed, and uncertainty, this European gathering invites us back to silence—not as withdrawal, but as a source of transformation for our shared life in the world. 

Grounded in the practice of Centering Prayer, this conference offers space for deep listening, shared reflection, and contemplative presence. Together, we will explore how silence shapes belonging, inner transformation, care for the Earth, and compassionate engagement with a wounded world.

 

What to expect

Held in a monastic environment, this gentle contemplative experience is designed to support and encourage practitioners by deepening their lived experience of Centering Prayer and strengthening their connection to the vision of Contemplative Outreach. The programme includes daily Centering Prayer practice and Lectio Divina, keynote teachings, panel discussions with Centering Prayer practitioners from across Europe, opportunities for shared reflection and dialogue, guided journaling, and time in nature, creating space for both personal renewal and community connection. Registration Details

Registration is now open for our 2027 Centering Prayer European Conference. We have only 60 in person places available, helping us create a warm and engaging experience. As places are limited, registrations will be confirmed in the order they are received.

While this conference is primarily designed as an in-person experience, we are pleased to offer both live and recorded access to all five keynote sessions on a donation basis. The recordings of the keynote sessions will be shared on the same day that there are presented at the conference to all online participants. All the recordings will be made available as a playlist after the conference to those who have registered for either In person or Keynote Only.

 

Pay it forward

We invite those who wish to do so to support scholarship participation by making a “Pay it forward” contribution, where you can sponsor a partial or full scholarship place and/or support the financial costs associated with this event. Step 2. Select the option that applies. You may upgrade to Ensuite (but please note this option is limited)

Step 3. If you wish to share the gift of participation please select the relevant sponsor a scholarship option

If you wish to request a scholarship registration place

Step 1. Select 0 from the Quantity drop down menu Step 2. select Scholarship and then follow the onscreen prompts. If you already selected the accommodation at Step 1. the only way to remove this charge is to refresh the page and start again.

Step 4. Check that the payment summary accurately reflects your registration choices, please add you card details to cover the required payment amount. NB> Scholarship or online access registrations incur no charge.

Step 5. In order to complete registration click the Submit Registration button.

No payment items have been selected yet.  Select *How will you attend* and then follow the steps you are presented with. If you are registering for Online (Keynote) access you are almost done. Once you have completed the required steps and double checked the Payment Summary is accurate (this may be €0 or not presented)  you are now ready to *Submit Registration*.
