Aging as a Spiritual Practice

No doubt that aging is an emotional, physical, and psychological experience for many of us as we grow older. The journey is made more complex because our culture does not support us as we transition from the celebrated stage of youth to elderhood. It is, therefore, very important that we find another way—a more “excellent way” as St. Paul said—to traverse the path.
This retreat will offer spiritual practices from the disciplines of Centering Prayer and Buddhist meditation that will not only help us navigate the aging process but enable us to thrive in the process.
