      To Practice:

      • Prayerfully re-read these passages again in the manner of Lectio Divina, reading them aloud to engage more of your senses and feel the vibrations in your body. Gaze at the image. What do you receive for your journey now?
      • The unconscious is by definition unavailable to our ordinary awareness. The body is the warehouse of the unconscious. Use the Welcoming Prayer to sink into body sensations when you are triggered, ungrounded, overly excited, or in an intense situation so you can embrace the moment as it is, and yourself as you are. This is sacred alchemy.
      • As another way of affirming your willingness to incarnate Love in each day, you may wish to pray this:

“May I say yes to everything,
Going to the roots of fear.
May I be aware without ceasing,
      Letting life just be.
May I see the face of God in everyone and everything,
Living from the heart of Being Kindness.”
      – Ezra Bayda, Zen Heart

A question arises from sitting with Ezra Bayda’s “Zen Heart”. Am I able to go to the roots of fear? Only in silence can I be safe enough to look at fear directly and let life just be. I pray to be able to live from the heart of Being Kindness. <3 linda
