To Practice
- The Prayer of Yielding: This week, take a few quiet moments each day to let go of managing life or shaping outcomes. Simply sit before God as you are, open and undefended. Whisper the words: “Be it done unto me according to your word.” Allow this prayer to soften the heart. Notice how humility creates spaciousness — a readiness for grace to work in ways you cannot plan or predict.
- Living the Poem: Throughout the week, let humility express itself as quiet creativity. Do one small act of love, unseen, unasked for, unrecorded, and let it become a kind of poetry. Allow daily life to be the medium through which God’s love takes shape: a kind word where judgment might have risen, a listening silence where opinion once spoke. At day’s end, pause to recognize how such moments turn the ordinary into the movement of Divine Love.
