I belong to the Dominican Republic community of Centering Prayer. Centering Prayer has immensely deepened my relationship with God in a way that is so beneficial. It has made me more conscious of his presence and has made my relationship a lot deeper, and I feel a lot more committed to my Church. I consider that Centering Prayer has also helped me to listen, observe, to let go in the everyday activities of my life and my relationship with others. And I also believe that Contemplative Outreach is very important today because when we are all united in prayer, in one way or another, it has to permeate the collective consciousness that needs so much of this type of prayer.
Pertenezco a la comunidad de Oración Centrante de la República Dominicana. La Oración Centrante ha profundizado enormemente mi relación con Dios de una manera tan beneficiosa. Me ha hecho más consciente de su presencia y ha hecho que mi relación sea más profunda, y me siento mucho más comprometida con mi Iglesia. Considero que la Oración Centrante también me ha ayudado a escuchar, observar, a entregarme en las actividades cotidianas en mi vida y en mi relación con los demás. Y también creo que Contemplative Outreach es hoy muy importante porque cuando estamos todos unidos en oración, de un modo u otro esto tiene que influir en la conciencia colectiva, que tanto necesita de este tipo de oración.
