Centering Prayer Introductory Workshop (online via Zoom)

Join us for a time of reflection and silence in this presentation of a contemporary form of silent prayer that traces its origin to ancient Christian tradition. The discipline of Centering Prayer is presented as silent communion with God beyond concepts, words and images. The workshop will cover the roots of the prayer, the theological background and the method of Centering Prayer, and provide opportunities to practice the prayer and allow time for questions and answers. The program can serve as an introduction for those who want to learn about the prayer and as a refresher for those who wish to renew the fundamentals. Registrants will receive an email with a Zoom link a few days before the workshop.
