To Practice:
- Prayerfully re-read these passages again in the manner of Lectio Divina, reading them aloud to engage more of your senses and feel the vibrations in your body. Gaze at the image. What do you receive for your journey now?
- Lectio of Belonging: Re-read slowly and aloud if you can, the words of Psalm 100:3: It is God who made us, and we are God’s. Pause. Let the words settle deep. As you breathe, let your awareness rest in the reality that you are made and held by God. Gently allow any inner resistance, striving, or self-doubt to soften. What shifts in you as you receive this truth—not as a thought, but as a lived belonging?
- Listening for the Voice: Spend some time in silence. Begin by recalling the words of Jesus: My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. With each breath, turn inward—not to grasp, but to listen. When distractions come, gently return to the intention to simply be with the One who speaks in stillness. End by resting in the awareness that you are known, and you are being led.
