English Transcript:

I’m a psychotherapist, so I do a lot of work with couples and with people who are in grief, and people who’ve suffered loss. In couples’ counseling, if couples start doing Centering Prayer together, it’s amazing what comes up so that they don’t blame each other. They can actually own their own pieces of the puzzle and maybe make it work ... also with those who have people who are ill, who are in the process of dying, or who have had children, or spouses, or siblings who have been lost. It seems to give them a sense that they can connect somewhat differently, more wholly connect, than just in the grief and the loss. There’s something that balances that in Centering [Prayer] that is really powerful.
